"Everything here is slanted"

So last night my roommate and I concluded that everything in London is slanted! Sitting in our kitchen last night we looked at our fridge and it was literally slanted sideways. Later in the evening we noticed that our walls were not straight at all! Hahaha it's been a little inside joke between us all. We are all getting used to the fact that this place is old and everything is small.

Last night my flat-mates and I sat around our kitchen table and laughed and talked. The guys found some cheap liquor and some generic snacks (typical)and we just listened to music and talked. So far everyone is really great and the group is getting along well.

This afternoon we found a wonderful sandwich shop cleverly named, "The Sandwich Shop". They have huge sandwiches for 2.25 pounds which is a steal! We all decided we will be headed back in the future :)

A couple of us are on our way to get groceries and an Oyster Card (for the Underground and bus system). We have to remember to only buy what we can carry. It's a whole different way of doing things here - No jumping into a warm car after buying a full cart of groceries! We can only buy what we can haul ourselves.
